RPL(Recognition of Prior Learning)이란??
- 관련 분야의 학위가 없는 경력자들이 경력인증을 통해서 호주에서의 학위와 동등한 자격증을 발급해 주거나, 경력이 부족한 경우 부족한 과목을 지정해 주고 그 부족한 과목만 이수을 하면 주는 자격증(Certificate of Diploma)을 발급해 주는 제도입니다.

RPL 실제 사례
- 한국에서 양식 요리 경력이 5년이 있는 지원자 Jason씨는 RPL을 신청하여 호주에서 추가적으로 관련 교육을 받지 않고도 호주의 영주권 신청 시에 반드시 필요한 호주 관련 학위 Certificate 4 in Commercial Cookery를 취득하여 영주권을 획득하였습니다.

RPL 진행 절차
1. 신청서를 작성하고 신청비를 해당 기관에 결제
2. 지원서와 각종 경력증명 서류, 자격증 등을 공증 받아서 제출.
3. 모든 서류를 가지고 해당 기관에서 서류 작업, 심사.
4. 심사결과. 통보. (지원자가 원하는 자격증이 나오거나 혹은 어떤 과목이 부족한지 통보)
(5. 부족한과목 수강 후 완료한 후에 통보)
6. 자격증 발급 비용 지불.
7. 자격증 발급 완료.
