We are a young company based in Japan that provides an online teaching platform to tutors who teach private lessons from home to students (mostly Japanese students but we are expanding worldwide).
Cafetalk started out offering language lessons to Japanese students learning English. We have about 24,000 students and 390 tutors, so it's still small, but we are growing fast and getting new students by the minute!
There are similar platforms out there but whatever we are doing, we are doing it right and we are growing faster and glowing brighter than anyone else.
We are a strong sales force; we are gathering and keeping our students by providing the best support so that tutors can focus on just teaching. English/Korean Bilingual Or, Japanese/Korean Bilingual
Fast and stable internet connection with PC or Mac and webcam
Basic computer skills
Strong time management skills
Strong communication skills

You are the boss and you can set your own hours. You post your schedule on the calendar and students will book your lessons through an automated appointment system.
90% of the students are Japanese who reside in Japan. Popular hours include, but are not limited to;
Tokyo time 8:00 PM - 1:00 AM
Berlin time 1:00 PM - 12:00 PM
New York time 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM
★★★ Compensation ★★★
Our top teachers earn as high as 82.5% of the margin rate. New teachers start from earning 60% which means that you earn $18 if you charge $30 to the students. Tutors set the fees for the students and the margin rate changes based on the sales you make.
