2010년 5월 17일 이민성 장관 Chris Evans는 오는 7월 1일부터 유효한 새로운 기술 이민 직종(ANZSCO)을 발표하였습니다.
발표된 새로운 List는 아래와 같으니 참조하시길 바랍니다.
아울러 호주 이민성은 2010년 5월 8일부터 해외에서 신청하는 기술 이민에 대해선 당분간 신청을 할 수 가 없음을 발표하였습니다. 이유로는 그 간의 해외 신청이 너무 많기에 심사에 병목 현상이 일어난 것과 최근 호주 인구의 급증으로 인한 불안 심리가 작용했을 것 그리고 그 간의 기술 이민으로 영주권을 취득하고 입국하신 분들이 본인의 기술을 제대로 사용하지 못하는 것 등을 생각할 수 있습니다.

호주내에서 신청하는 On-shore Case의 경우( 유학후 이민에 해당) 2010년 2월 8일 시점을 기준으로 485 임시 취업 비자를 소지하시거나 혹은 485 신청 후에 결과를 기다리시는 분들은 2012년 12월 31일까지 기술 이민 영주 비자를 신청하시는 경우에는 오늘 발표된 새로운 SOL은 적용이 되질 않으며(기존의 SOL 적용)

2010년 2월 8일 시점을 기준으로 학생 비자(572, 573, 574)를 소지하시고 해당 학과를 공부하시고 계시는 학생분들도 2012년 12월 31일 기술 임시 취업 비자(485 비자)를 신청하시는 경우에 새로둔 SOL이 적용되질 않으나 이 후 영주권 신청에는 새로운 SOL이 적용이 되기에 오늘 발표된 SOL에 해당 과정이 없으면 사실상 기술 영주 비자로서의 신청은 어렵습니다.

457 임시 취업 비자와 고용주 초청 영주 비자(856, 121 비자)의 ENSOL의 변경 소식은 아직 없습니다.
